Fisherman Creek Trails

About Fisherman Creek Trails

Heading out into the rolling hills north of Grand Forks, the Fishermen Creek trail system introduces visitors to the classic, dry interior forests of the Boundary Country region. Located on unceded traditional Indigenous territory, this multi-use singletrack network flows through open stands of Douglas fir and ponderosa pine. As you amble along the dirt track, watch for red squirrels, chipmunks, and mule deer moving through the brush, alongside red-tailed hawks soaring overhead. AllTrails and Trailforks users highlight the fun, flowy nature of the network, noting that the gentle switchbacks make for an approachable outing whether you are on foot or on two wheels. Throwing on standard trail running shoes or sturdy sneakers will keep your feet comfortable over the dry, hard-packed earth. Vehicle access is available via informal pullouts and staging areas along the Fisherman Creek Forest Service Road off North Fork Road.
